Accessories / Description: Accessories / Description: Smith & Wesson Model 101 revolver chambered in .38 Special, serial C462176, built on the six-shot K-frame platform with a 4-inch barrel. Manufactured in 1956, this early post-war revolver represents the transitional era when S&W moved from the Military & Police line into its numbered model system. This example is in excellent overall condition, showing only tiny, faint bluing blemishes on each side of the barrellikely from light holster wear. The original checkered walnut grips remain in outstanding condition with sharp diamonds and minimal handling marks. Tight lockup, smooth trigger pull, and clean bore throughouta superb example of a 1950s-era S&W sidearm.
