Colt "Automatic Caliber .25" semi-automatic pistol chambered in .25 ACP. Serial number OD12776. This specific model represents a unique era in Colt's history. Following the 1968 Gun Control Act, which halted the importation of the Spanish-made "Colt Junior," Colt contracted Firearms International in Florida to manufacture this domestic replacement between 1971 and 1973. You can easily identify these American-made models by the "OD" prefix in the serial number and the "Automatic Caliber .25" roll mark on the slide.
It features a 2.25-inch barrel and an exposed hammer, differentiating it from earlier hammerless Colt pocket pistols.
