Accessories / Description:
Engraved Emil V. Nordheim, Mehlis German single-shot sporting/target rifle with octagon barrel, flip-up rear sight, and a set-trigger trigger group; beautifully engraved receiver and furniture with visible assembly/matching marks on components (see photos). Under-barrel German proofs show Crown/B, Crown/U, Crown/G, a bore stamp of 8,9 m/m, and a 12.19 proof date code (December 1919), consistent with a German-proofed rifled barrel from the classic Suhl/Zella-Mehlis region. Chambering is not marked and should be confirmed by a gunsmith (chamber cast) prior to firing.
