Accessories / Description: Herters U-9 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06, serial number (no serial # found). Features a 24.5-inch barrel, 44.5-inch overall length, and comes with Weaver 1³ scope rings already mounted. The U-9 series was offered in the 1960s as a value bolt-action rifle using a BSA-Monarch/Sporterized action. The rifle bluing and metal is in fair condition with scratches in the bluing and minimal previous rust marks. The wood is in good condtion with very light marks or scratches. Manufactured in England this rifle features a walnut stock with double bolt reinforcement, a Monte Carlo comb, roll over cheek piece, checkered pistol grip and forearm. This item includes the scope rings, but no box or paperwork. Good project gun or shooter.
