Remington Model 11-48 semi-automatic shotgun, serial 5031871, in good to very good condition. The barrel is stamped DWW on the left side near the receiver, which decodes to a September 1950 barrel manufacture date, supporting early production and “pre-64” status if the barrel is original to the gun. This example also features a stainless loading gate/carrier (“loader tongue”), which may be a later parts update, but functionally it’s a classic long-recoil Remington autoloader from the postwar era with strong shooter and collector appeal.
