Sales Description
Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket semi-automatic pistol chambered in .25 ACP. Serial number 288789. Designed by the legendary John Moses Browning, this hammerless, striker-fired subcompact was the ultimate concealed carry piece of the early 20th century. Manufactured in the roaring twenties (1921), this classic "mouse gun" features a 2-inch barrel, a grip safety, and a manual thumb/tang safety.
Condition is Good, showing honest wear consistent with a century-old pocket pistol. Notably, this example still exhibits the beautiful, factory-original case color hardening on the trigger and manual safety—a premium aesthetic touch that Colt was famous for during this era. It remains a fantastic piece of American firearms history and a must-have for any serious Colt collector.
